Goal

To decrease the number of communicable diseases in our community

Services Provided:

  • Well Baby Clinics for Immunization
    • Tuesdays and Wednesdays
    • Weigh and measure height and head circumference of child
    • Immunization for
      • Pentacel (Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Polio & Haemophilus Influenza Type B)
      • Quadracel (Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis & Polio)
      • Pneumococcal
      • Meningococcal
      • MMR (Measles, Mumps & Rubella)
      • Varicella
      • Mantoux (For Tuberculosis Testing)
    • Discuss parent concerns
  • Preschool Screening Clinics
    • Held twice a year
    • Same services as Well Baby Clinic for Preschool Aged Children
    • Vision and Hearing Testing
  • Influenza Clinic
    • Seasonal and H1N1 Vaccinations
    • During the flu season
  • School Health
  • Adult Health
  • Direct Observed Therapy (DOT) for Tuberculosis clients
  • HIV/AIDS Awareness Program

Environmental Health

Services Provided:

  • Animal Bite Investigations
  • Water Quality Testing
  • Fumigations
