NNADAP works towards the accomplishment of physical, spiritual well-being of Bigstone Cree Nation members affected by substance abuse through the following activities.
Prevention - Increase public awareness
Intervention - Development and implementation - Of preventative programs.
Pre-treatment - Development and delivery of individual treatment plans.
Treatment - Responsible for the delivery of treatment services.
Aftercare/follow-up - Responsible for ensuring an aftercare plan is developed.
Post-treatment Counselling - Involvement in prevention and counselling
Administration - Work plan and budget preparation
Personal and Professional Development. - Pro-actively seeking personal certification - Pro-actively seeking program accreditation
The role of the NNADAP worker as also to provide advice and opinions to the regional working groups and to the National Native Addictions partnership foundation representatives.
