- Assistive listening devices
- Assistive speech devices
- Scooters
WHO CAN PRESCRIBE AND PROVIDE BENEFITS? A licensed professional registered to practice in the Province they are located in may offer their expertise in a specific benefit area as follows:
- Medical Doctor
- Specialist
- Any licensed medical personnel specializing in a specific area of expertise
(Example: Occupational Therapist, Nurse; Audiologist dtc.)
HOW CAN YOU ACCESS THE BENEFIT?
- Make an appointment with your Doctor
- Refferal to a specialist has to be made by a Medical Doctor
WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES?
- Inform the Doctor\Specialist that you are a Bigstone Band member
- Inform the medical staff if you are covered by another health care insurance plan.
- Take your prescription to an approved service provider
- Attend your appointment if one has been made for your
- Follow warranty instructions if available
- Return medical equipment fo Bigstone Health Commission or contact the office if you or your loved one no longer need or use the property.
